What To Expect

COMMUNITY LIVING

Every Tuesday evening YWAM staff and students, Lord’s Land guests, believers and friends from the community and local churches gather at the Lord’s Land for a potluck, teaching, and worship.

Our community prays together every morning and we ask our volunteers to attend both our potluck and daily prayer meetings. We encourage every member of our community to attend a local Church on a weekly basis. Currently we do not accept international volunteers.

CONFIDENTIAL REFERENCE

We ask for a reference from a pastor or spiritual leader with whom you’ve worked closely.

FINANCE

No one at the Lord’s Land receives a salary or remuneration of any kind. We are all either long-term missionaries or short-term volunteers.

FOOD & HOUSING

Depending on availability, we can offer you a place to stay while you are working with us but you’ll have to provide your own food. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 – 5:00.

We need day-to-day help with cabin cleaning, laundry, event planning, etc.

We need help running the kitchen during schools throughout the year.

We sometimes have families attend our programs and need help caring for the children while the parents are in classes.
