Passion Week

Passion Week is a yearly celebration at the Lord’s Land during the week before Resurrection Sunday. Beginning with our Tuesday Night Potluck, we host a series of events to focus our hearts and minds on the cost and the triumph of Christ’s death and resurrection. Many of our friends make an annual pilgrimage to rent a cabin and be with us for the whole week, but you’re welcome to come for any part of our Passion Week celebration.

TUESDAY

Join us from 6 – 8:30 pm for thought-provoking and heart-stirring exploration of Christ’s ultimate sacrifice. What is the meaning of the cross? Why was it necessary? What do we need to see in this terrible, wonderful event? Potluck starts at 6 pm. Worship and teaching starts at 7 pm.

THURSDAY

The Last Supper: Join us at 7 pm for an intimate time of communion and encounter with the Word of God.

FRIDAY

This year we’ll be hosting a Traditional Jewish Seder at 6 pm. This is an RSVP only event. You can call our office to reserve a seat (707-937-5700: 9:30am-12:30pm, Monday-Friday) or email us at: ywam@lordsland.org. We will have a potluck style dinner after so please bring a kosher dish.

SATURDAY

Come to the Lord’s Land anytime between 7 – 9 pm for our “Stations of the Cross” interactive experience. Plan on at least 30 min. but you’re welcome to stay longer. (This is a great opportunity for children to have an interactive, tangible experience with the key elements of the last week of Jesus’ life. They should be accompanied by an adult.)

SUNDAY

At 6:15 am we gather around the campfire for an intimate sunrise service — strong coffee served!
