School of Supernatural Missions (SSM)
By the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God… I have fully preached the Gospel of Christ.
Romans 15:19
Physical healing, deliverance from demonic oppression, prophetic insight, and other works of the Spirit are essential to completing the unfinished task of world evangelization. (Mark 16:15-20; Acts 1:8)
YWAM was birthed as a movement dependent on God’s supernatural intervention. Our history is full of stories of supernatural guidance and miraculous provision. Most of our lives were reshaped through powerful moves of the Spirit during DTS and other schools or events. The challenges and opportunities we face as a mission call for a miraculous lifestyle and a supernatural anointing as never before.
WHAT TO EXPECT
SSM brings supernatural ministry into focus under the lens of the Great Commission — proclaiming and demonstrating the Gospel of the Kingdom wherever it is not yet known. You will learn directly from visiting teachers who are experiencing the power of God in their ministries. Daily class sessions will be rich in application, experimentation, and practice. Veteran missionaries on staff will coach you in applying principles of supernatural ministry to the context of cross-cultural missions.
Our schedule includes regular daily times of prayer and intercession. Students participate in various forms of corporate prayer, including models commonly used in HOP-style prayer rooms. We will experiment with different forms of worship and creative expressions of our adoration. We will learn to be sustained by the Spirit as we take time to welcome and enjoy His Presence.
During the SSM there will be opportunities to apply what we are learning in weekly local outreaches. Students will also serve on prayer teams in our Healing Rooms, and staff a booth at a large “new age” event near San Francisco. After the SSM, students will have the option to join one of our teams presenting a 3-week IGNITE seminar in another country, equipping national believers in supernatural ministry.
Nathan and Cindi who are hosting this school have years of experience working in missions in a restricted access nation as well as a continual pursuit to see God move supernaturally. I am always challenged in my thinking, in my spiritual life and in my ministry whenever I am around them. Beyond that the school is located in Mendocino on the Lord’s Land which has a history of supernatural visitations! This is a school you won’t want to miss…

WHO IS SSM FOR
The SSM is designed to serve those in our mission who are hungry for more of the supernatural work of God, both in their relationship with Him and in their ministry.
This school was born out of our quest to know God experientially and to make Him known in all His goodness and power.
Our community places a high value on creative worship, contending prayer, and strategic engagement in reaching the unreached. These values shape the culture of the SSM.
Anyone who has completed a DTS is welcome to apply. We are especially eager to include those working on the front lines among unreached people groups, or candidates headed in that direction.
We’ve also designed this program to be a good option for front-liners on furlough. The SSM is a time of refreshment and renewal, with opportunities for personal ministry. Our setting, an idyllic retreat on the spectacular Mendocino Coast of Northern California, is a wonderful place to restore your soul.
We are a pro-family community and the Lord’s Land is a kid-friendly environment.
We’re not looking for experts. If you’re willing to wrestle with Scriptures, allowing them to renew your mind and alter your experience, the SSM offers a workshop for learning and growing in God’s grace and power.
If you are hungry enough to be humble, and you’re willing to experiment, and even risk making mistakes, this school is for you.
