Launch: Frontier Missions Seminar
It has always been my ambition to preach the Gospel where Christ was not known…
— The Apostle Paul
Imagine taking the good news of the kingdom to where it’s never been heard. Imagine changing the destiny of a people group by planting a transformational community of faith and obedience. Now that’s a worthy ambition!
The LAUNCH Frontier Missions Seminar is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and tools you’ll need to be successful in long-term, cross-cultural missions among the world’s least reached people groups. You will be coached by veteran frontier missionaries and included in focused learning groups preparing to launch pioneer teams in Central Asia and the Middle East.
We will spend most mornings in a classroom context learning from missionaries and leaders currently working around the world. Many afternoons will have workshops, small groups, research projects, and activation exercises to help us take the content further.
WHO IS LAUNCH FOR
LAUNCH is for DTS graduates who want to take the next step in frontier mission work. We also highly recommend taking our School of Supernatural Missions (SSM) as a key preparatory step towards long-term, frontier mission work, prior to LAUNCH.

FOCUS GROUP
LAUNCH will have multiple focus groups for the purpose of going deeper in understanding a specific culture and nation. Out of these focus groups we will form pioneering teams to go to different nations. Students will have the opportunity to join a pioneering team by committing to a year of language learning and acquisition, prayer and worship, friendship evangelism, and ongoing missions training, in Central Asia or the Middle East.
PRAYER & WORSHIP
LAUNCH will happen within a culture of prayer and worship at YWAM Mendocino Coast. We will spend time each day seeking the Lord and His presence as well as in intercession for the nations. We will also be involved in our base’s “House of Prayer” and we will continue to develop that model to be something we can take with us onto the field.
