BONFIRE: High School Revival & Missions Intensive

BONFIRE is a 21-day summer intensive for high school age young people who come together for a life-changing encounter with God and a world-changing missions outreach. Challenging teaching, small-group application, and life-on-life mentoring from passionate young revivalists will help you discover your “original design” and give you keys for unlocking your destiny.
You weren’t meant to burn alone… like logs in a bonfire, we come together to catch fire and stay lit.
That’s the purpose and passion of BONFIRE , to leave everything else behind and wholeheartedly pursue the “surpassing greatness of Christ Jesus my Lord”. BONFIRE is a three-week high school revival and missions intensive run by Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Mendocino Coast in northern California, an international, non-denominational missions organization committed to knowing God and making Him known.
BONFIRE is three-week program divided into two phases. The Lecture Phase focuses on personal development and heart transformation through a deeper understanding and experience of the loving kindness of God. During the Outreach Phase we go on the road for an adventure in obedience. We step out in living the new life we’ve found in Christ, and reach out so that all can taste and see this “surpassing greatness.”
TOPICS
Powerful, passionate missionaries will present biblical truth on a wide range of life topics, including Who is God?—His character and ways, Who am I?—Original Design, Identity in Christ, Hearing God’s Voice, Worship, Intercession and Spiritual Warfare, Encountering the Father Heart of God, Relationships, and Power Evangelism.
SMALL GROUPS
In smaller, more intimate groups we will develop deeper relationships with other participants and Bonfire staff, and create opportunities to discuss and apply teachings.
LOCAL OUTREACH & ACTIVITIES
Hikes in the redwoods, bonfires on the beach, kayaking and canoeing on the river, games and sports. There is never a dull moment on the coast and we will take advantage of enjoying the top tourists location as well as ministering there.
OUTREACH
Outreach will be in Vicente Guerrero, Baja California, Mexico. We will partner with YWAM Central Baja to actually build a house for a local family! We will also do evangelism, and serve with local churches and long-term missionaries. Applicants should have a valid passport with an expiration date that falls after end of BONFIRE.
A non-refundable application fee of $40 per student. Parental and/or Guardian consent required to apply.
