The Burning Ones DTS
We were not born to merely occupy space. We were born to burn; to be passionate lovers of God. We were designed and created to live as an offense to the powers of darkness and to make a difference in the course of history.
At YWAM Mendocino Coast our desire is to raise up burning ones: passionate lovers of God who are single minded and wholehearted in their devotion; who pursue deep, authentic and intimate relationships with Him and release them into the nations of the earth to be carriers of revival and ambassadors of the Kingdom.
We believe that it is only from the stillness of being with God that we can make God and His son Jesus known in the nations. The motto of YWAM is To Know God and Make Him Known. Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth,” is an amazing verse that roots this value into the heart of the mission.
This Discipleship Training School is a pilgrimage through sweet refreshing, deep brokenness, ecstatic intimacy with God, and a call to radical commitment and consecration. Every week we have class where local and international speakers share about a variety of topics. We also have regular times of worship and prayer, small group discussion, one-on-one discipleship, hands-on serving, and plenty of fun community life! In the midst of it all, we are seeking God together to discover how we can live out the truths we are learning. Our ambition is to prepare messengers of the gospel, imparting spiritual principles to help students cultivate an intimate and living relationship with the living God.
An exciting component of the Burning Ones DTS is the New Wine Tasting Tour. This is more than just any road trip – we travel up the west coast, going to conferences and visiting ministries from the bay area up through the Pacific Northwest, experiencing what God is doing in this region and receiving impartation. In 2010, we visited Bethel Church in Redding, The Mission in Vacaville, The Healing Rooms of Spokane, and heard from people like Graham Cooke, Lou Engle, Bill Johnson, Che Ahn, Kris Vallotton and other great speakers. Our 2011 New Wine Tasting Tour included the historic ‘Open Heavens Conference’ at Bethel Church. We’re looking forward to what God has in store for the 2012 Tour.
After the lecture phase we will head overseas for outreach. This is a 2 month cross cultural experience that will give you an opportunity to apply what you’ve learned during the lecture phase. We will go and find the lost wherever they are and bring with us the love and power of God. In the midst of it all there will be plenty of opportunities to be challenged, step out of your comfort zone and receive God’s heart for the nations.
Watch as your heart is consumed by the All Consuming Fire. Be equipped and released as a Burning One, a Revivalist, a World Changer, and see God glorified in the nations!
The Burning Ones DTS consists of a 3-month lecture phase, followed by a 2-month outreach.
Lecture Phase: September 16 – December 14, 2012. Price is $2600.
Topics include:
Father Heart of God, Hearing God’s Voice, Spiritual Warfare, Relationships, Destiny, Intimacy with God, Holy Spirit, Evangelism, Prophetic Ministry, Strategic Missions, Worship and Intercession, and much more!!!
Outreach begins December 27. Price is $3000.

I am 16 and will gradute from high school in 2012.
I am very interested in this DTS.
I think I met some from ths in Oct 2010 when I was with
another group ministering in Salem.
Would it be possible for me to visit this Fall
to check the program out?

I am very interested in your program and I would love to find out more information. I graduated high school in 2008 and have been searching for what I want to do with my life and I was told that this program is a great place to find my purpose.

Hi Katie…yes the price of the lecture phase-$2600 includes tuition, room, and board. Any special food that you would need or want…snacks, etc. you would purchase yourself. Feel free to call our office too if you have any other questions! 707-937-5700.

WE pray mornings “with” you from Idaho. Can you send us the list of speakers and students so that we can be more specific? Love the pictures and bios of the staff. What a change just a year makes!!!
