Pre-Call Prayer Rally at the Lord’s Land

This September TheCall is coming to Sacramento and multitudes from across California will join together with one voice, in prayer and fasting, to call on God to have mercy and send revival to our state.
We at YWAM Mendocino Coast are excited to be hosting a pre-Call event at the Lord’s Land. Join us at 6 PM, Saturday, August 7 2010, for this solemn assembly, as we cry out to the Lord for our region and state. Then join us, and thousands of others from around California, in Sacramento, September 3-4 2010, for TheCall.

So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land…
- Ezekiel 22:30
About TheCall
TheCall is a FAST not a festival, a SOLEMN ASSEMBLY and not a conference. TheCall is not a Christian entertainment gathering, but a summons to prayer, fasting, repentance and sacrificial worship. TheCall does not advertise bands nor does it promote speakers. It is not about the exaltation Proxy-Connection: keep-alive

human personalities. It is about exalting the Lord and Him alone.
Our nation is in desperate need of the mercy of God and another great spiritual awakening, which will only come forth as the Body of Christ gathers together in prayer. When there is no hope for a nation, when there is no remedy, God has a Holy prescription. We must drop every barrier that divides us and unite in urgent, humble fasting and prayer with the promise that afterward God would pour out His Spirit (Joel 2).
TheCall is committed to mobilizing three generations, every ethnicity, and every denomination from across America to join in petitioning God for His undeserved mercy and to return to acts of justice that would satisfy His heart.

The Weekly Potluck
Every Tuesday evening, friends from all around the coast come to The Lord’s Land for an evening of food, fellowship, and worship.
We start eating at 6:15, start worship around 7:15, and follow it up with a time of sharing, teaching, or bible study. Do you want to join us? We’d love to have you! Bring a dish of food, a jacket, and a friend. Everyone is welcome!
October 20th (this coming Tuesday night) we have some very special friends coming from YWAM Namibia named John and Suzanne Hunter. (See attached poster) John came to the Lord on the “hippie trail” in Kabul, Afghanistan. They have been working with YWAM all over the world for 30 years. They currently live on the mission field in Namibia, Africa. Here’s an excerpt from John’s Bio….”John … lectures worldwide on “Men and Nations in the Hands of the Master Potter”. John is a master potter (35 years) and weaves incredible teaching imagery right before your very eyes as he teaches from the scriptures while he makes pottery on the potter’s wheel. His unique gift of “hands on” teaching and speaking make for a power packed ministry presentation!” John will be bringing many pots for sale for the purpose of supporting missions in Namibia. The bowls are hand crafted in John’s studio in Namibia and all the proceeds go to their school for orphans called “Community Hope School.” They sell for $30 and $20. October 27th, Keith and Sanna Luker will lead us in a deep and very special worship experience. Keith and Sanna minister with anointed worship leaders such as Kevin Prosch and David Ruis. Check out the following You Tube Clip: www.YouTube.com/keithluker . It’s from a Festival called SHATTER! which was broadcast on God TV. They are passionate for the Presence of God and for the role of prophetic worship in revival. We’re looking forward to what God is going to do in our ministry at the Lord’s Land on this night and we hope you’ll come be a part of it.
Nov. 10th, we are hosting the staff of the Justice House of Prayer (J-HOP) in San Diego. (This is part of Lou Engle’s ministry.) We are a stop on their “Jehu’s Ride” tour of California. These young people are passionate about intercessory prayer and are zealous to turn the spiritual tide in California. They’re coming “to preach an unfiltered, uninhibited, non humanistic- gospel.” They will be leading us in a night of prophetic prayer for revival in our region and our state.

Mendocino Coast Youth Fellowship
We are so excited about a new youth fellowship here on the Mendocino Coast. We are still working on a name:-)
Over the past year, we’ve been working with a handful of young people….taking them to conferences, IHOP in Kansas City, leading worship together, etc. In recent months, several of them have begun to ‘dream’ about starting a youth fellowship on the coast. These young people come from several different churches but they all have one thing in common…. a passion for Jesus and a desire to grow in discipleship and service for Him. They also have a heart for revival and evangelism. The fellowship is student led with adult facilitators. They have formed a ‘core group’ of young people ranging from high school to early twenties. The core group meets once a week to fast and pray and ask the Lord what He has for them for their upcoming meeting and vision for the fellowship. Occasionally they want to invite in guest speakers to speak on topics that they want to cover. They want their meetings to have a variety of different elements: multi-media, drama, art, worship. They also have separate discipleship groups for young women and young men. As the group grows they have lots of vision for different kinds of outreach on the Coast. The fellowship is not meant to draw kids away from existing youth groups but to offer a community of like-minded, like-hearted young people focused on going deeper in their relationships with God. They would love to invite youth leaders from different churches to attend their meetings and to bring young people from their youth groups with them. They are targeting high school age students and young people in their twenties.
They also want the venue for the fellowship to be a place where unevangelized kids from the Coast can feel comfortable. The Presbyterian Church in Mendocino has offered us Preston Hall to use on Sunday evenings. Discipleship Groups start at 6:00 p.m. and the Youth Meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.
Please pray for us and help us get the word out. If you know of a high school/twenty-something young person that would like to be part of this fellowship, please pass this information on.

Awaken!!
The Mendocino Coast Youth Fellowship (we’re still praying about a name
, is planning a night of passionate worship and focused intercession for the group and for Mendocino Coast this Sat., Oct. 17. The core group is very excited about this night of ‘wreckless abandonment to God.’ Much of what they are planning came to them in dreams and in prayer….even the name, ‘Awaken’. This first ‘Awaken’ will be a time when they devote themselves entirely to God–when they give all of their hearts to Him in total, complete surrender. They want to repeat this night monthly in different churches on the Coast and have a heart for this event to bring unity among the churches and the generations. Future ‘Awakens’ will most likely have other themes and focuses.
This Saturday, The Lighthouse Church in Fort Bragg is hosting ‘Awaken.’ They want as many youth to attend as possible (high school and twenty-somethings), so please spread the word to other young people. (The core group would like to invite the adults.) The event starts at 7:00 p.m. Please be praying for us.
